Mr. Lalu Bajaj, who along with publishing magnate NariHira was the moving force behind this institution. Founded in 1973, the club with its breathtaking view and relaxed ambience is home today to one of Mumbai's most formidable swim and squash teams. Otters Club over the years has been a beacon of sporting achievement, harbinger among the Mumbai club community and a great second home to all of its members. With its scenic setting and contemporary vibe, it has over the years been a refuge within the city for the young and old alike.

Members of our community have grown up waddling as babies in the pool and graduating to swim practice in the lanes, where they are coached to compete, or spending early mornings and evenings on the squash courts or in the gym, eating club sandwiches and lounging on the lawns, celebrating occasions at the pavilion, or weekend dinners at the restaurants and reading at one of the well stocked libraries. The Club has constantly nurtured champions at local, national and international levels, in swimming, squash, snooker and other sports, supported top-notch coaches and gym training facilities.

The club today boasts a line of enviable recreational spaces including a state of the art Gymnasium, international standard Squash courts, Snooker & Pool room, excellent libraries, bars, lounges, restaurants, multipurpose banquets and outdoor poolside areas.

Members can truly attest to being lucky to have Otters club as a haven to fall back on in the midst of busy city life. Today amidst our members are mavericks and legends in their respective fields, including stalwarts of the film industry, ace sportspersons and business industry heavyweights.
